Vibrant visuals make supernova-like pulses in the end sky.

I suggest splitting this page into parts because end flash is a different function.

Oppose, there's too few content about the end flash to warrant an article. It's just a very short description and some sounds, and it perfectly fits in this article which is otherwise also quite short. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) 👁 Image

But we can describe it in detail about how it works, and I can help you with that. Mix (talk) 08:02, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
The thing is, you could also see it as a weather event rather than a sky effect, in which case the full description should be on the weather article with just a link here. All weather types have their own pages, but that's because the other weather also has (a big) influence on gameplay, like mobs not burning in the sun, mob spawning during thunderstorms, lightning strikes, snowfall, etc. But an End flash is purely a visual effect, which is currently even Vibrant Visuals only so it's a part of the Vibrant Visuals page (and we don't make separate articles for pixelated shadows and water caustics either). I also don't really know how there's more detailed information about the End flash, maybe only how it uses a different texture across editions and some left-over text from the Vibrant Visuals page. Not enough to warrant an article IMO. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) 👁 Image

Oh okay! Mix (talk) 08:11, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
I've completely revised the article about end flash, and it's now complete. Mix (talk) 08:34, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
The article is fully informative and ready to use. Mix (talk) 09:22, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
Please wait before there is a consensus, a day or two should be enough. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) 👁 Image

Strong oppose, this page is already short enough, and keeping it as it is wouldn't be that much of a issue. –👁 Image

Oppose it too, because it's obvious. Mix (talk) 07:46, 21 August 2025 (UTC)

In the History section of this article, it says in Bedrock Edition that "Preview 1.21.90.20 The End flash is now available without having to toggle the Vibrant Visuals experiment to turn Vibrant Visuals on." Though when I checked the actual changelog (https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/36030119254925-Minecraft-Beta-Preview-1-21-90-20), there were no mentions of "end" nor "flash" using ctrl+f.

To further back this up, I have personally fought and beat the Ender Dragon in the End without Vibrant Visuals in the 1.21.130 versions (before 26.0). I did not experience any end flashes in the end, even while going to an end city using a Happy Ghast in survival (without Vibrant Visuals as well). Upon having prior experience with Vibrant Visuals in the past few months, I can confirm I have experienced end flashes upon using Vibrant Visuals, but in other graphics modes such as fancy, I have not experienced any end flashes.

Therefore, whoever wrote "The End flash is now available without having to toggle the Vibrant Visuals experiment to turn Vibrant Visuals on." is clearly wrong and has likely not checked the change log themselves and assumed end flashes were added in fancy and simple graphics modes in Bedrock Edition like Java Edition (of which has end flashes in the fancy graphics settings).

Hope this can be corrected and not, NOT, mislead people into thinking Bedrock has end flashes like Java Edition in the fancy graphics mode. Thanks to whoever reads fully and not dismisses it as "false information". Have a nice day.

The experiment is not the same as the graphics setting. In any version, you have to turn on Vibrant Visuals to have End flashes, which is literally stated in the body. The history section only explains that this now works without having to toggle the experiment, which is correct and should stay that way. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) 👁 Image
