Your signature, as seen here, contains a parser function that is not being substituted properly. As per the talk page guidelines, this parser function should be substituted.
Parser functions are not disallowed in signatures, only templates need to be substituted. And do you realize parser functions cannot be substituted, but are most of the time the result of a substitution? MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 () (contribs) π Image 10:54, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
The order of the 4 Bedrock Edition categories that was previously used on the wiki for 7-8 years was always the correct order and has never been changed in recent updates. The Nature tab is the 2nd category and therefore should always be listed as second and not the last category. You can find this in the All tab or the Search tab for how the categories should be listed.
Look at the screenshot in the right. In the top left, the first few items are from the Construction tab. The second set of items is from the Nature tab, not the Equipment tab, that comes after. The last set of items is the Items tab, which is the last set of items to be listed.
When updating the list of items, The list on the wiki needs to match the layout in the search bar (construction -> nature -> equipment -> items). That way it's a lot easier to catch missing items, rather than from the 4 individual tabs, which are buried behind drop down menus and therefore harder to update.
Older revisions all use this layout and therefore comparing recent revisions if you swap the categories, it is no longer possible to use the "compare revisions" function and check if there are any missing items. This was the order used from the start and it's not helpful to change the order 8 years later if the "compare revisions" feature becomes completely meaningless because Nature got moved to the wrong location.
If you do think the "Nature" tab should be listed as the last category and not as the second category; then file a bug report with the Mojang bug tracker that "Nature" is incorrectly listed second and not last in the search bar. If Mojang fixes the search menu to put "Nature" last instead of second, we can update the wiki accordingly. Otherwise, it is intended to list "Nature" as the second category in the BE block selection menu, just like it is in the game in the search bar. We follow the order of items in the search bar to reduce ambiguity. Delvin4519 (talk) 01:06, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
I think the order of tabs in the top-left should be prioritized over the search tab. You can't really organize it based on the "All" tab, because that is a single tab, but the item tabs are actually separated. The fact that the items are still grouped similarly in the All tab doesn't mean anything, because they aren't really visible (and no one uses that feature, people only use the All tab for searching). There are also no mentions in the article of groups in the All tab, it's just the four tabs on the left and the All tab. Additionally, the names and icons of the tabs are used in the article, but those only appear in the tabs. It might be confusing if we use the style of the tabs and organize it with the All tab.
I don't think it should matter whether it's "easier to update" or "the wiki used it for 7-8 years so we shouldn't change it". Updating is always doable, if people just spend time on it, and I don't think there are any differences (I personally find the item groups very useful to skip some sections). And we shouldn't keep a weird order just because we've used it before, hardly anyone compares this thing through the edit history because it is already very hard to navigate in the source text. Hi, I've noticed that you've undid the 2 edits I made to the available render distance in vibrant visuals and ray tracing. You wrote that it is due to the page listing "the limits when changing in options.txt.". Does that mean that the listed 5-96 chunks render distance in simple & fancy graphics mode coulombs are wrong? I haven't tested it (due to me being unable to locate options.txt sine the game moved to a jdk platform), but I don't see why through the txt file you wouldn't be able to set the render distance to 0 in these modes as well. And I'm pretty sure that, if you have enough ram, you can set the render distance in game (with ought editing the file) to 128 chunks.
Besides, it doesn't make sense to me to write the limits that are available through the options file as most players won't use it, and the render distances available in ray tracing and vibrant visuals doesn't change depending on hardware, unlike the simpler 2 graphics modes. EldarDB (talk) 23:01, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
The 0-128 is only for VV and RTX, changing it in options.txt in classic graphics modes is limited to 5-96. More specifically, you can change it to any value but it doesn't actually work. [EDIT: On Simple/Fancy it will reset to default values, on VV/RTX it will show in the settings screen but doesn't render chunks farther than 128] The hard limits are at 5-96 for classical graphics modes, and 0-128 at VV and RTX. This is exactly what that table is currently listing as "difference" but it's only technical. The actual render distances are different for every platform and graphics card (classic varies between 12, 27, 50, and 96, VV/RTX varies between 8-24, 8-28, 4-12, 8-16, and hard limit 0-128). Maybe add note with a link to Settings#Video, which describes this in detail, that whole table is a stub honestly. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 () (contribs) π Image 23:06, 30 December 2025 (UTC)

Congratulations on your wiki edits approaching 10,000!
(talk page stalker) For future reference, the "Beta" prefix is exclusive to ChromeOS and Android devices, so yes, he took his screenshot on a Android phone. As for the lack of Vibrant Visuals, I'd rather suggest that you wait his reply, but it is probably for technical reasons. β RedX19:37, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
First, the version was delayed on Windows, but a bad screenshot is better than nothing so I went to mobile. Second, I wasn't home so couldn't check when the Windows version released, but when it does I'll reupload it. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 () (contribs) π Image 20:13, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
You don't need to warn me about that, and I suppose you don't need to warn anyone about such situations. It's as simple as when someone puts my user link or signature there it will send an alert so I instantly know what's going on. Hello, MinecraftBedrockPlayer7. First of all, I wanted to ask permission to make your user page a reference to my own. But, all I want to talk about now is that I want to know how to make sprites like your Vibrant Visuals sprite, is there a specific page to do so or not? If not, I would like to hear how do you make those sprites. I'm sorry if my English is bad, and if I'm very new. Thank you! STARStories (talk) 15:43, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
You can always reference my userpage, or copy parts to build your own upon, as long as you don't credit files I created or work I've done to yourself. I used Microsoft Paint and Blockbench for creating sprites, just the most basic paint tools, and I made them by editing existing sprites and using colors from in-game screenshots. I'm not very advanced in sprites so for more tips you can go to Toaddie83, someone who made a lot of high-quality sprites. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 () (contribs) π Image 15:57, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

I've noticed that when you add the Delete template to pages you tend to blank the page, I just wanted to let you know that according to the template documentation you're meant to put it above the page content instead of replacing it, except in some cases where it's mainly speedy delete criteria anyway.
When marking non-redirect pages for deletion, the content should not be blanked (simply put the delete template above all the content).
Just like you said, it depends on the delete reason. Article content should be kept if it's not 100% certain to be deleted, but for spam/nonsense/useless info it's more like sd where it's harmless to blank it. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 () (contribs) π Image 10:38, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

https://minecraft.wiki/w/Snowfall?oldid=2862982 specifically this one. How did you know that the snowfall started at 356+6 blocks? Because I just checked that in game and that is not the case. I even checked the first 1.18 version that changes the snowfall height and it is around 600 blocks in a plains biome. β Unsigned comment added by Feycional (talk β’ contribs) at 16:21, 27 April 2026 (UTC). I just checked in-game at what height it changes. It does not depend on the biome (any biome has rainfall above 320 and snowfall about 356). Are you on the latest version. Or is it a parity issue? MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 () (contribs) π Image 19:08, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
At that time, it was created using SearchDigest by people not knowing why people actually searched it. Yes, it can refer to other things, but the climate parameter is the only thing that's actually called "downfall", it won't be confused easily. Featured servers now does not show the featured server Ip's because as your edit says 'address is pointless because they are always in the list' however these ip's are usefully especially on console where you can't join custom servers so you have to make your console forward these ip's to your desired server. Also in general these ip's could be useful if they got removed from featured servers for reference. (side not sorry if this is in the wrong place I only just started using the wiki) RainbowOne7 (talk) 17:09, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
Could you elaborate the use of these for port forwarding on consoles? That information might be more suitable for a tutorial because this isn't official, intended use, and I don't see any other use for the addresses, especially outdated ones. Just a reminder that the Netherlands is currently on DST (CEST, UTC+2) until Oct 25. Your signature may need an update to reflect the current UTC offset. TigerZhang (talk) 08:30, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
