Replace "(image)" with a file of your choice, but try to keep it around 40 pixels or so. The text can, of course, be whatever you want. To answer your question more thoroughly, each parameter has its own purpose:

• The border-c param is the color of the border
• The border-s is the size, which should usually be 1 or 2, probably not 3.
• id is image
• id-c is the image background color, especially useful with renders
• id-fc is text color of the image if text is indeed used in place of an image
• id-s is the size of the id.
• info is where the text goes, like amethyst said use {{ROOTPAGENAME}} to make it say the user's username, or use "this user".
• info-a is alignment of the text, should usually be center (do not use <center> in the text)
• info-c is the background color of the text
• info-fc is the text color

Go to preferences > appearance > signature (if I'm remembering correctly), and you can fill in the setting with various aspects of wikitext (make sure to turn on "treat as wikitext"!), and you can have a cool signature. Make sure to read MCW:SIGN before you customize anything, but also the most important rule: have fun with it! You can look in the code of talk pages to find code and HTML tags and stuff from others' signatures. No worries on the late reply -- it happens :)

So anyway, my opinion. I don't want to be rude, however you have only a handful of edits in the mainspace. Don't get me wrong -- that's awesome. However you will likely have a lot better of a chance at autopatrol in another thousand edits or so. Don't let that worry you though! Autopatrol isn't that big of a deal. So try to learn more about the wiki, and continue as best you can. If you want to continue and get autopatrol, that's the most important bit. And the most important bit of continuing is motivation. you may have only made about 1,000 edits in just over a year. But there's never any rush. You're already pretty active so making constructive edits will be easy.

So in short: you're not the best fit for autopatrol yet, but with effort you will be. And remember: quality over quantity. ~ NG2K  21:00, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

I recently had some guy get mad at me for not adding him to my thanked by list because well... i was sleeping. So, i wanted to know if you could help me code one of those clock things like on yours and 72011copperfan2's userpages. Instructions if you are up to the task:

1. Please create it here at User:Redstone Engineer/Time
2. Create three types of like message box.
   1. Asleep: "Redstone Engineer is currently asleep. Please don't put anything in their talk page."
   2. Awake: "Redstone Engineer is awake and on the wiki!"
   3. Inactive: "Redstone Engineer is awake but currently not on the wiki. They may take a quick look every once in a while though."
3. Times. (UTC-6) CST is my time zone:
   1. Asleep: Starts at about 8:30 PM (UTC-6) CST and goes until 7:30 AM (UTC-6) CST.
   2. Awake: Starts at 7:31 AM (UTC-6) CST and goes until 12:00 PM (UTC-6) CST.
   3. Inactive: Starts at 12:01 PM (UTC-6) CST and goes until 8:29 PM (UTC-6) CST.
4. Finally, colors. I would like if it was a different color each time.
   1. Asleep: Blue
   2. Awake: Orange
   3. Inactive: Gray

Because of DST, you are currently in PDT, not PST. Pacific daylight time, that is. It is indeed because of daylight savings.
