As the title says I might have found this version on an old Polish cloud drive. I don't know how to run it and see if it really is that version so I will just post it here. Hope it helps! The thing is that if you try with a pirated launcher, /Sorry, Mojang/ and run 1.2.1 it will send you to 1.2.1_01 as i tried on tlauncher and some other. Maybe this will help. --Peshoddd0 (talk) 09:32, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
I might have found this version. I was going through a website called BetaArchive who has an FTP server full of development versions of all sorts of software. I noticed that they have a listing which says "Minecraft ("Alpha") 1.2.1 (2010-11-05) (alpha)." This was added on February 1, 2013 which was months before the launcher added the version selection. This means that it could be the actual Alpha 1.2.1 and not the launcher one that gives you Alpha 1.2.1_01 instead. However, I have no way of knowing for sure because I don't have access to their FTP server. Can someone get access to that server and see if they actually have Alpha 1.2.1?
