- I am not really sure, as it is just an update, it is not really a version (you cannot play the music update, nor can you disable it). If it were to be put there though, it might be relevant to have a new section at the top containing it and the Beta Sound Update (and possibly some launcher stuff) โKnightMiner t/c 16:52, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

- I think the term "2013 Music Update" is rather established, and I find inducing potential ambiguity 4.5 years after the event rather pointless.
- Side note: do we need to capitalize coined update titles? The lead sections of both this article and of Beta Sound Update use sentence case for the introductory mentions of the updates. --AttemptToCallNil (report bug, view backtrace) 07:36, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

- This is a very wrong move. The 2013 music update affected 1.7.2 first. If anything, this page could only be merged with JE 1.7.2. However, I believe this page should stay as it is, on its own. Moresteck (talk) 22:45, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
- I honestly think it wouldn't make sense to merge this with 1.7.4 or 1.7.2, but rather with the Minecraft - Volume Beta page. Now this isn't exactly going to be easy (Volume Beta does not have the song "Boss"), but if it was an update to add the songs from Volume Beta over to Minecraft, why not have that on the page itself? -- PanchamBro (talk โข contributions) 01:54, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
