Missing Chests

[edit source]
Latest comment: 27 November 20121 comment1 person in discussion

I have found neither the tree ladder, nor the chest under the A in Minecraft. First question, which A? The sign has two sides. Second, more information is required if it is underwater somewhere.

The TU5/6 tutorial world has a glitch where not all music disc chests will generate when the world is loaded. I had to generate multiple worlds to get both to spawn in.

Here is something else, under the desert just west of the tutorial area is a vast underground labyrinth. I have found no natural openings, but if you dig sand near one of the hills and next to a lake, the sand will collapse revealing a way inside. Is this worth mentioning on the page?

I thought the massive dungeon was worth mentioning. It's very hard to find. 208.250.96.20

After reading up a bit, I can see that this was actually a Stronghold. 208.250.96.20 19:02, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Could anybody get a picture of the fortress? That would be really helpful. Kittykatlover - Yes, I love cats. Now I need to get one on Minecraft.... 22:20, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Can anyone get more information for this page? I decided to build of this map and I've but too much work into it to make a new one until we get an update adding a mode that gives you unlimited amounts of blocks. Also, is there any sugar here or any way to get it? And where is the spawner on this map? –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.196.96.120 (Talk) 00:24, 12 June 2012 (UTC). My friends and I split screened on the tutorial before the update, if I make a new tutorial world, will it erase the old one when I save? –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.180.189.50 (Talk) 00:17, 18 July 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I don't think so. I have both an old tutorial world and a new one and they don't interfere. 184.88.201.212 21:20, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

Just so you know

They've added sugarcane since the 7/13 update. There is also a piston bridge to the castle and about 4 dungeons, including the one listed above. Contibutor: Unknown –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.245.251.40 (Talk) 19:11, 17 July 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Quick Iron

[edit source]
Latest comment: 27 August 20121 comment1 person in discussion

Starting at the entrance to the first village, go seven left, ten forward, and five down, and that's where a creeper showed me some iron. There's 4 blocks. That's a lot quicker than the iron I randomly found way down in the ground in the first area but didn't keep track of. 99.179.146.50 19:54, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Split proposal

[edit source]
Latest comment: 20 December 20155 comments3 people in discussion

It has been proposed that the section "secrets" be split into the page "Console Edition tutorial/Locations" because "This section should be split into Console Edition tutorial/Locations so that in can cover all the features of the tutorial world rather than just the "secrets". Having a page like this would make sense to have and also would be consistent with Demo mode/Locations. This page would be written with a section for each tutorial world and its features." On Xbox 360 at least, there is a new tutorial, making this information obsolete.

World download

[edit source]
Latest comment: 21 December 20182 comments2 people in discussion

Could somebody please provide me with a world download of the tutorial world? I am interested in making a map out of it or just playing survival or creative on it. Thanks. FinnHS (talk) 09:25, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Well, I can pull a fresh tutorial world off my PS3 and upload it to my Google Drive, if you want. I'll share the link once I've got it uploaded. 184.88.201.212 21:15, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

Relog 'glitch'

[edit source]

Where it says the spawn can't be left until you complete or skip the tutorial, maybe relogging can be mentioned. If anyone didn't know, basically if you exit the tutorial world then load it back up the barriers are gone.

"Minor updates to Tutorial world."

[edit source]

This is listed as a change in PS3 Edition 1.39. Does anyone know what actually changed?

Should TU46 and onwards use Bedrock version numbering in the History line (Just like TU69)

I've noticed something about the LCE with its new features, They came from Bedrock/Pocket edition and this was the case for TU46 during my research back in February www.reddit.com/r/Minecraftlegacymode/comments/1ijow1w/does_anyone_know_when_did_lce_started_porting/ but there are 1.10 features and some missing 1.9 features (namely frost walker and mending) Frozenturbo (talk) 06:58, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

Updates up until World of Color are still based on their Java counterparts. TU57 is when they started porting features and tweaking existing features to match Bedrock.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 10:39, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
How so? Observers have Bedrock edition observer delay and can detect many things that Bedrock can and Java can't. Additionally, the update timing and features updating is so similar (both updated with majority of 1.11 and 1.12 features) Frozenturbo (talk) 12:30, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

This mostly show the old ones

Sure they are iconic but in newer versions of legacy console edition it was completely different. GAMEDUDE9299 (talk) 19:54, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Should we add information about the ps3 leaks?

[edit source]
Latest comment: 4 March2 comments2 people in discussion

As some of you know, legacy console edition source code was leaked. And a new tutorial world was found (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGh85yM7ufI). Are we going to add information from source code leaks to the wiki? Some of it is interesting. WearyEagle77054 (talk) 15:20, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

As of right now, no. We are currently dicussing about an addition to a rule regarding leaked content on the wiki. Please leave a comment here if you wish to do so. BDJP (t|c) 15:24, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
