- The living shrubs/ferns drop seeds like the tall grass does, which is definitely worth mentioning. Honestly, I'm not convinced the living plant is supposed to be the same kind as the dead one, given the look of the dead shrubs "branches." --Srand 12:42, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- I forgot to mention, that the dead shrubs don't seem to drop seeds. Then again, I only tested 30ish with my hoe before I ran out of desert locally. --Srand 12:58, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- Living shrubs also have the same block id as tall grass, going by the in-game statistics page (break some tall grass, note the number then break some living shrubs and check again). Dead shrubs show up as having their own block id. Perhaps living shrubs' info should be moved to the same page as tall grass rather than here? -- Itantor 16:32, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just split out Dead Shrubs and Tall Grass and clarified the differences in both articles. Rather confusing! -- Xolotl 21:44, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- Good catch though with the block IDs, I should have thought along those lines originally, doh. Thanks! --Srand 21:55, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Can someone check to see if shrubs have undergone a texture change on Ps4? —98.230.115.82 12:23, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
While I was messing around with Pocket Edition v0.6.0, I discovered that the shrub actually existed in Bedrock Edition, so it existed in every main edition of Minecraft. – Unsigned comment added by SUSABCDE (talk • contribs) at 23:00, 17 September 2022 (UTC). Sign comments with ~~~~
I noticed that the page says that shrubs are currently only obtainable in Legacy Console Edition via the creative inventory. But those shrubs in the creative inventory are the green shrubs, and not the normal ones. – Unsigned comment added by SUSABCDE (talk • contribs) at 13:49, 18 September 2022 (UTC).
