The filename of the icons uploaded to this wiki have the pattern "AwardIcons_00xx_LC1.png", however according to Zpleefer they are actually named "Medals".
Which one is correct? -~-Redz [talk] 16:10, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- They're called medals in-game, which is evident since one of the medal's name is "No Medal" π Image

- Award Icons, or more accurately Awards, are what they are called in the game data and files. They are not really referred to anything in game itself. π Image

- I mean there is one instance of it being called a medal in-game. So it's either we choose medals from in-game, or awards from the files.
I would rather use the name in the game itself tbh but it's not the end of the world if we don't. π Image

- Agreed, not really a big deal. Also I apologize for not seeing your comment earlier. I opened the link to this page from a notification from my email and it brought me to an earlier version of the page. I completely forgot about "No Medal" lol. I think Award might be a better term for visual clarity as most of the icons don't really resemble medals, but if the game referred to it in game as "No Medal", then that's the term I think we should use. Unless "No Medal" is a reference to something as an award name but I doubt that. π Image

- Okay! so I came across an old tweet while looking for something else. 4JStu (one of the lead devs at 4J Studios, still to this day actually) referred to these as "medals", albeit also with quotations, but I think this is as much confirmation as we're gonna get. https://twitter.com/4JStu/status/750688495358844928 π Image

- The How to Play descriptions for minigames and the scoreboard screen description call them medals:
- "[...] Match Reports
- At the end of a round, there will be a match report showing the statistics for the round.
- Players will be awarded medals for their achievements (or lack of achievements) in the round."
- "This is the Scoreboard. It shows stats and awarded medals for each player. After you close it, you can view the Scoreboard at any time by pressing {*CONTROLLER_VK_BACK*}." Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 22:18, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for this! π Image

One of trivia facts is the fact that Tumble apparently has an esports / competitive community.
Are there any sources that can confirm this? Because I've seen "pro" communities for Battle (with people on WiiU & PS3 emulators making custom clients) and Glide (with custom tracks and public leaderboards) and literally nothing for Tumble. 176.193.189.61 23:26, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
The killboxes that Mojang and 4J added have messages in the Xbox 360 edition. In the translation files of all 4 maps (MG02 Map Pack #) there exists an entry of IDS_[theme]_ARENA_KILLBOX_MESSAGE which have these. I'm not sure if these have been published by any discoverer but I feel it's nice to give a heads-up before anyone thinks that it's fake. ;) Tethrarxitet (talk) 12:06, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

- It's quite difficult to find a list of what each medal does unfortunately. Wiki editors are volunteers and they might want to put their efforts in other articles.
- You can give it a shot if you'd like π Image
