In old versions in JE, wolf sits when tamed, but no longer in current version. When was this feature removed?

Spawning as babies

"They have a 10% chance of spawning naturally as a baby." This has been present on the page since 1.15 -- However I have not seen a single wild baby wolf in the game. Curiously, the list of changes in Java Edition 1.15 says this needs to be verified, and also brings up llamas... I have no recollection of wild baby llama either... Do they spawn on Bedrock? Is this a bug, or was this ever an actual feature? Was this added in a snapshot, and later removed, or was it never present at all? Is it mentioned in an official changelog? ... I leave this for anyone willing to investigate this. WOLKsite (talk) 17:07, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

Does using a Tamed Wolf to kill a mob unlock any achievment/advancement that require killing mobs?

Most players call tamed wolfs as “dogs”, but I was curious why they are called like this. DfsCr7K (talk) 15:15, 26 May 2026 (UTC)

First I've heard of it. If you encounter a player referring to a wolf as a dog, ask them why. The only reason I can think of is that they behave like dogs after being tamed. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:00, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
