Template talk:Console version

I think this template should always be substituted. Using transcluded templates for article content makes it more difficult to edit such articles. Articles about LCE versions cannot be edited using the VisualEditor, and the only way to edit the contents of these articles is to edit the sections separately. The template in its current state is unsuitable for substitution; substituting the template leaves behind all the variables and ParserFunctions. Fadyblok240 (talk) 22:12, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

The entire point of this template is so that nothing has to be substituted. This removes all the duplication that having 7 pages about the same thing would have. Clicking the 'edit' after the section heading works fine. This template won't be changed.  Nixinova   T   C   22:15, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

The current template breaks the download link for update. Usually, this would link to [1] but as of current it is broken (apparently due to an "archive.org problem").

If there was a way to manually edit the links instead of automatically generating each link, it'd fix edge cases like this.

The navbox being collapsed is rather annoying. I noticed Nixinova tried fixing it a little bit ago, but it didnt work. Should we just remove it from the template and have the navigation section put onto every page individually so that the proper tab can be opened instead of all of them default closed? If nobody opposes, Im assuming this is something a bot can do? 👁 Image
