There should be more in this guide about how to PvP Piglins in big groups and a bit more aimed to lower gear poeple. Not everyone has Shulker boxes, or eliytras. One tactic I abuse is dropping gold, then digging a hole underneath the Piglins traping them, making it esayer for trade halls and the same tactic works with boats too. Just some suggestions. Feel free to add!162.210.247.201 18:21, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

tipped arrows, and other gear which needs to be mentioned

So in bedrock edition tipped arrows are much easier to make than in java. they only require a potion and a cauldron, so if the player has defeated a nether fortress they can be obtained quite easily. to be specific arrows of harming should be mentioned, as they do tons of damage, making a crossbow or low tier bow quite powerful. and by combining them with a piercing crossbow, they can do considerable damage to hoards of piglins. other potions should also be mentioned, strength, which is obtainable in both versions as soon as a nether fortress is beaten, can increase your attacking capability significantly. crossbows are not mentioned either, they can be very helpful with the afore mentioned piercing enchantment, multishot, which can also help in defeating hoards of piglins if you can't run, and due to their effect of instantly shooting, if oyu are cornered and don't have tome to pull back a bow, it can instantly shoot. they can also shoot fireworks, which to damage in an area. Gold nuggets can be useful for distraction as they cost less than gold, but distract them for the same amout of time.Robonate135 (T C) 18:17, 31 May 2021 (UTC)

I've never heard of a player using tipped arrows to raid a structure. Tipped arrows are generally not used, since bows are rarely required to begin with and tipped arrows don't do a lot of extra damage. --Simanelix (talk) 15:52, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

Confused about "chalice"

[edit source]
Latest comment: 8 June 20241 comment1 person in discussion

Why is the gold block cluster on the bridge referred to as a "chalice"? It seems more appropriate to refer to it as a "grail" because a grail is a highly desired object (and the gold block cluster is most likely highly desired), while a chalice is just a cup and the structure does not resemble a cup. The reason I am not making an edit directly is because this reddit post also refers to the gold block cluster as a "chalice" when I searched up "minecraft bastion chalice" on my browser, so I am wondering if there is a reason to call it a chalice that I have not seen before. Treasure Bastions

[edit source]
Latest comment: 10 November 20243 comments2 people in discussion

Treasure bastions are the only way to obtain a netherite upgrade guaranteed, so why not make a tutorial for defeating the treasure bastion. I suggest building a tunnel out of cobblestone so magma cubes cant get in, then get the loot in the chest. What do you guys think?

I mean, maybe there could be subpages of this page for the different types of bastion, but that could just be sections on the article instead. -~- Nerdyguy2000   Talk   Edits  14:41, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
I think what should happen is that we already have a section on this article for handling housing, stables, and bridge bastions, so why not add one for the treasure bastion? WikiUser48935 (talk) 17:04, 10 November 2024 (UTC)

Possible gear requirement change?

[edit source]
Latest comment: 4 December 20252 comments1 person in discussion

Bastions are hecking hard, to the point that one or two brutes can already kill you (they deal 9.5 hearts of damage on Hard, which makes iron armor completely useless). Also, the gold armor is also useless, since brutes don't care, but piglins also attack you once you attack them. I'll increase the gear requirements if I do have time. (OP's note) The later sections seems like speedrunning tactics that may be outdated (1.16.1) for newer versions? Lantenie (talk) 12:21, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
