- Sorry about that! I thought there was a more efficient way to do it, but didn't see an option. Thanks. DeeFeeCee () 03:27, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
Hi, how did you find the chances for each potion to generate in witch huts in Bedrock 1.17.2? I'm referring to this edit: https://minecraft.wiki/w/Swamp_Hut?diff=prev&oldid=1983953 They seem correct based on some quick in-game tests (checked the cauldrons in ~50 witch huts), but how did you get the exact values? AFAIK they are not part of any loot table or data-driven structure file. I know it's a 4 year old edit, but hopefully you can still give some insight.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 00:41, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response! I checked old behavior packs & the 1.20.30.1 & 1.21.120.4 samples (even double-checked each of the NBT files in there—there are 1014 of them, by the way) & couldn't find anything. I also looked through my files to see what I would've gone through at the time & no luck. I do believe there is some file out there that states the chances in decimal format, since I highly doubt I checked manually. If I have all the resources past me did, then I can only imagine it'd be in the EXE, which I know is silly. I think it would be ludicrous for me to look through the entire executable just to find the rates for potions in witch hut cauldrons, but I've done some silly things for Minecraft.
- Sorry, I wish I remembered where I found the information. Thank you for taking the time to confirm the stats experimentally. DeeFeeCee () 09:03, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
