What's the point of having the unusually weird spacing in the Person template? Having no spaces between the field description, and the = sign (like that of the Block and Item template on their respective pages) is how it should be done. –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk

- I've found that it's made reading and editing the template easier. I don't want to be rude, but does the spacing make a difference? Maxamillion1998 () 06:53, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
- On windows, do the equal signs line up nicely? For me (on a mac), the equal signs look like an incongruous mess, and for consistency with other templates, it doesn't make sense for there to be spaces. –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk

- Yes, the equal signs line up nicely. I didn't realise they wouldn't on other systems. http://imgur.com/soONip5 Maxamillion1998 () 07:02, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

- If you're not using a monospace font then a lot of things are going to look messy, since the editbox is intended to be viewed in monospace. –Matt ᐸ Talk

- I didn't change my font to be monospace for the edit box, on my Mac (I have checked both Chrome and Safari), the font defaults to the mac font. –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk
