Consistency is important, but this case of inconsistency is only a minor prose variation, and makes the page objectively worse otherwise by confusing readers. I don't believe the consistency argument is effective enough here. - Harristic / Talk 👁 Image

It was called smooth sandstone at the time. All other pages call it smooth sandstone in pre-1.13 contexts. It doesn't make anything confusing, really. --MemphisM () 18:31, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

@User:Harristic I prefer to match existing pages where possible. It's also worth noting that only PS4 legacy edition has "Cut Sandstone Stairs". All other Xbox 360, PS Vita, Wii U, Switch legacy editions, they never got Village and Pillage like PS4 legacy Edition, so they will still call cut sandstone as the legacy "smooth sandstone" even on their final update today. Calling it "cut sandstone" may be confusing for the legacy editions outside of PS4 since they never ever got the rename. Delvin4519 (talk) 19:59, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
