Yeah, I think that's right. The drowned I killed were naturally spawned and had no tridents, but when I tested with spawned drowned that had tridents, they dropped a trident every time with my looting 100 sword. ShadowCooper78 (talk) 20:07, 30 May 2019 (UTC)

Regarding this edit, FYI, I tested in Bedrock, and you're correct, the shaking starts at 30 seconds after submersion, and 15 seconds later the zombie converts to drowned. I think the "45 seconds" came from the total submersion time.

I also contrived to test this with a zombie standing in a boat, building a structure around it to cover its head with water. It still drowned. Amatulic (talk) 15:07, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
