Vice versa, actually. X.YY is the versioning format for PS patches and 1.xx.yyyy is the versioning format for Bedrock releases.  Nixinova   T   C   06:33, 11 May 2025 (UTC)

X.YY is the currently the format for Bedrock for PS4 (Not the legacy version. 1.xx.(build) is the format for legacy console builds.

Example: Xbox 360 Edition TU75 has build number 1.12.2178.0 Xbox Villager (talk) 06:41, 11 May 2025 (UTC)

Oh I see what youre getting at. However "X.YY is the currently the format for Bedrock for PS4" is not correct - it has always been the format for any PS4 update. Build 1.21.2178.0 is released to PS4 as Patch 2.93. The X.YY format is mandatory for PS releases. So, both names are correct.  Nixinova   T   C   07:24, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

I contacted an admin and they said that X.YY should never be used as seperate pages for legacy console edition builds. So PS4 edition 2.93 should be a redirect to the bedrock edition page. Build 1.12.3120.0 is an update to the legacy ps4 version, which is only accesible through the editions button in BE Xbox Villager (talk) 07:50, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
