Search images with Google Assistant

You can use Lens on Android globally to search what you see in photos or videos across websites and apps without having to leave the app.

Requirements: Android 10 and later with Assistant enabled.

To search an image from a website or app:

1. Open the app or content that you would like to search.
2. Invoke Assistant over the top of the app content.
3. Tap Search screen.

To turn on or off the feature on Pixel 4 and newer:

1. Open Assistant settings.
2. Tap Screen Context 👁 and then
    Use screen context.
3. Turn "Use screenshot" on or off.

To turn on or off the feature on Android phones and tablets:

1. Open Assistant settings.
2. Tap General or Digital assistant app 👁 and then
   Use screen context.
3. Turn "Use screenshot" and "Use text from screen” on or off.
