Save a drawing as a note
You can add drawings as notes in Google Keep. Create drawings from scratch, add drawings to existing notes, or draw on top of images.
Create a drawing
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Keep app 👁 Google Keep
. - At the bottom right, tap Create 👁 Add
👁 and then
Drawing 👁 Image
. - Start drawing with your fingertip.
- To close the drawing, go to the top left and tap Back 👁 Back
.
To edit your drawing, open the note and tap the drawing.
To make the drawing area bigger, draw in the bottom of the screen and scroll up.
- To draw thin lines, tap the Pen 👁 Draw
.
- To draw thick lines, tap the Marker 👁 marker
. - To highlight with color, tap the Highlighter 👁 highlighter
. - To pick the color or size of a tool, tap a tool twice.
- To erase a shape, tap the Eraser 👁 eraser
. - To select any shape you’ve drawn, tap Select 👁 Select
.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Keep app 👁 Google Keep
. - Tap the note that has the drawing.
- Tap the Drawing.
- In the top right, tap More 👁 More
. - Choose Delete.
Add a drawing to a note
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Keep app 👁 Google Keep
. - Tap the note with the image you want to add a drawing to.
- Tap the image.
- At the top right, tap the Pen 👁 Draw
. - Start drawing.
- To remove a drawing from an image, tap the Eraser 👁 eraser
, then tap the drawing.
Add a drawing to an image in a note
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Keep app 👁 Google Keep
. - Tap the note with the image you want to add a drawing to.
- Tap the image.
- At the top right, tap the Pen 👁 Draw
. - Start drawing.
- To remove a drawing from an image, tap the Eraser 👁 eraser
, then tap the drawing.
