Find your places & lists in the You tab
Important: We’re currently updating settings for Google Search services, which include Search, Maps, Shopping, Flights, Hotels, Translate, and News. These are rolling out gradually over the next few months. If the settings in this article do not match what you see, history and personalized recommendations for Search services are still controlled by Web & App Activity.
Learn how to find your personal content in Google Maps, such as:
- Your lists and lists you follow
- Labeled places
- Your recently saved places
- Your nearby saved places
- Your Timeline of visited places
- My Maps
Find saved places
Important: The content in the You tab depends on your activity on Google Maps.
Recently saved
Find places you’ve saved within the last few months. If you haven’t saved any places in the last 180 days, “Recently saved” will be unavailable.
- Open Google Maps 👁 Maps
. - At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
- You can scroll through “Recently saved” to find places you have recently added to your lists.
- Tap a place for more details and its location on the map.
- Tap the list name to jump directly to the list.
Nearby saved
Find nearby places that you’ve saved. If your saved places aren’t within 25km (about 16mi), “Nearby saved” will be unavailable.
- Open Google Maps 👁 Maps
. - At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
- You can scroll through the “Nearby saved” cards to find nearby places that you have added to your lists.
- Tap a place for more details and its location on the map.
- Tap the list name to jump directly to the list.
Your lists
- Open Google Maps 👁 Maps
. - At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
- Scroll down to find your lists. You’ll also find lists you follow.
- Tap New list to create a new list.
Maps
Find a list of maps you’ve saved or created on My Maps.
- Open Google Maps 👁 Maps
. - At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
- Below your list, tap Maps.
