Manage playlists in YouTube Studio

To create a new playlist,

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. In the top-right corner, click CREATE 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   New playlist 👁 Image
   .
3. Enter a playlist title and description.
4. Use the drop-down box to select your playlist's visibility setting.
5. Choose how videos are going to be arranged on the drop-down menu next to it.
6. Click ADD VIDEOS.
7. Click CREATE.

To manage your playlist,

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left Menu, select Content 👁 Image
   .
3. Click the Playlists tab.
4. Hover over the playlist description of the playlist you’d like to update 👁 and then
   click Menu 👁 Image
   .
5. Select Edit on YouTube. Your playlist will open in a new tab.
   • To sort videos in a playlist: Drag and drop the video up and down to reorder 👁 Image
     .
   • To share a playlist: Go to your playlist details and select Share 👁 Image
     . Then, choose where you’d like to share the playlist.
   • To add collaborators: Go to your playlist details and click the More 👁 and then
     Collaborate 👁 Image
     .
   • To add videos to a playlist: Go to your video details and select More 👁 Image
     👁 and then
     Add videos 👁 Image
     . You can add a video from search, URL, or your library.

To update your playlist’s details,

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left Menu, select Content 👁 Image
   .
3. Click the Playlists tab.
4. Hover over the playlist description of the playlist you want to update 👁 and then
   click Details 👁 Image
   , and update as needed.
5. Click SAVE.

To add a language for translations of your playlist title and description:

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left Menu, select Content 👁 Image
   .
3. Click the Playlists tab.
4. Hover over the playlist description of the playlist you want to update 👁 and then
   click Details 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   on the left-side menu, click Languages 👁 Image
   .
5. Click the “Set language” drop-down box 👁 and then
   select your playlist’s default language.
6. On the right side of the screen, click Add language 👁 and then
   select the language you’d like to add a translation.
7. Add translations for title and description 👁 and then
   click Update.

To select the language for your playlist title and description:

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left Menu, select Content 👁 Image
   .
3. Click the Playlists tab.
4. Hover over the playlist description of the playlist you want to update 👁 and then
   click Details 👁 Image
   .
5. Under “Language”, use the drop-down box and select your preferred language.
6. Click SAVE.

To find a playlist easily, use a filter to narrow down your search:

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left Menu, select Content 👁 Image
   .
3. Click the Playlists tab.
4. Use the filter bar 👁 Image
   and enter keywords to filter your playlists by title.

To turn an existing playlist into a podcast,

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. Go to Content 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   Playlists.
3. Hover over the playlist you want to designate as a podcast.
4. Click Menu 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   Set as podcast 👁 Image
   .
5. Review your podcast’s details and add a square podcast thumbnail. Podcast details include title, description, and who can view your podcast on YouTube.
6. Click DONE to confirm your changes.
