Advanced search (Filters)
When you search for videos and other content on YouTube, you can refine your search by using advanced filters.
YouTube app
You can filter videos by factors like upload date, type, and duration.
- Open the YouTube app.
- Tap Search 👁 Image
. - Enter a search term.
- On the right, tap More 👁 Image
👁 and then
Filters. - Select the search filters you want to add like Upload Date, Duration, and Subtitles/CC.
- To adjust the filters for the search, tap Filter 👁 Image
again and select the filters you want.
Mobile site
You can filter by Upload Date and Category.
- Go to m.youtube.com.
- Tap Search 👁 Image
. - Enter a search term.
- Tap Filter 👁 Image
. - Tap the down arrows below the search box.
