What was it you used to read your epub information ?

Was the epub library something Firefox could previoulsy open ? Did that icon have a Firefox icon before ?

Your Library files should not have moved, that is nothing to do with Firefox. Maybe you can locate that Library by searching for files by name.

What do you use to read the epub files I note for instance there are addons available

(There may be other ebook readers, that's just two I saw in the add-ons site as examples)

Thanks John99 for your reply.The answer to each of your questions is yes. However i searched for and found a method of recovering my epub files. Here is the link from Epubreader, 

 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/library-exporter/?src=dp-dl-othersby

By this i was able to get to my files and save them in a new folder.
