the addon was download helper but it might work with any button

how to reproduce:

  • right click next to the search bar
  • customize
  • drag an addon button to the bottom right of the screen
  • this causes the desktop to flash to the front in windows 7
  • you are pretty much screwed at this point (can't get back to firefox, and when you release the button on the desktop firefox locks up, and will lock up on start from then on.)

is there a fix besides reinstalling?

sorry if this is not the right place for bug reports, couldn't find a better place quickly

edit: got firefox to start again by ending the process via task manager.

There's no support for Nightly or Aurora. If you want a stable version, use Firefox 12.

To find existing bugs or file a new one, take a look at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/.
