By surfacing MariaDB data using native Tableau data types and handling complex filters, aggregations, & other operations automatically, CData Tableau Connectors grant seamless access to MariaDB data.
NOTE: The CData Tableau Connectors require Tableau 2020.3 or higher. If you are using an older version of Tableau, you will need to use the CData JDBC Driver. If you wish to connect to MariaDB data in Tableau Cloud, you will need to use CData Connect AI.
Open Tableau and click More under Connect -> To a Server. Select "MariaDB by CData," then configure the connection and click "Sign In."
The Server and Port properties must be set to a MariaDB server. If IntegratedSecurity is set to false, then User and Password must be set to valid user credentials. Optionally, Database can be set to connect to a specific database. If not set, the tables from all databases are reported.
