The CData ODBC Driver for Zuora enables you to access live Zuora data in workflow automation tools like Power Automate. This article shows how to integrate Zuora data into a simple workflow, moving Zuora data into a CSV file.
Through optimized data processing, CData ODBC Drivers offer unmatched performance for interacting with live Zuora data in Microsoft Power Automate. When you issue complex SQL queries from Power Automate to Zuora, the driver pushes supported SQL operations, like filters and aggregations, directly to Zuora and utilizes the embedded SQL engine to process unsupported operations client-side (e.g. SQL functions and JOIN operations).
If you have not already, first specify connection properties in an ODBC DSN (data source name). This is the last step of the driver installation. You can use the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure ODBC DSNs.

In order to create a valid connection with the provider you need to choose one of the Tenant values (USProduction by default) which matches your account configuration. The following is a list with the available options:
Two Zuora services are available: Data Query and AQuA API. By default ZuoraService is set to AQuADataExport.
The Data Query feature enables you to export data from your Zuora tenant by performing asynchronous, read-only SQL queries. We recommend to use this service for quick lightweight SQL queries.
LimitationsAQuA API export is designed to export all the records for all the objects ( tables ). AQuA query jobs have the following limitations:
LimitationsWhen you configure the DSN, you may also want to set the Max Rows connection property. This will limit the number of rows returned, which is especially helpful for improving performance when designing workflows.
After configuring the DSN for Zuora, you are ready to integrate Zuora data into your Power Automate workflows. Open Microsoft Power Automate, add a new flow, and name the flow.
π A new flow in Power AutomateIn the flow editor, you can add the actions to connect to Zuora, query Zuora using SQL, and write the query results to a CSV document.
Add an "Open SQL connection" action (Actions -> Database) and configure the properties.
After configuring the action, click Save.
