This is the second course in “Leadership for Healthcare Professionals” Specialization, a course series designed to help professionals in all healthcare roles sharpen their leadership skills and advance their careers.

Welcome to the Healthcare Strategy and Innovation course and to Module 1 on Principles and Concepts of Strategic Planning! We start our course by learning about the concept of change so we can understand strategic planning as a dynamic change process. With this understanding, we will distinguish between strategic thinkers, planners, and management—the three dimensions of strategic planning.
