Ground Control

Paper Plane is one of Mona's microgames found in the Strange folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and returns as one of Dribble & Spitz's microgames under the name Ground Control in the Fantasy set within the Mash League in WarioWare Gold. The original microgame also has a full minigame version in Mega Microgame$!, also titled Paper Plane.

Gameplay[edit]

In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, there is a paper plane flying from above in some sort of building, and barriers sticking out from either wall. The player must use the control pad to steer the plane around the obstacles. Hitting one of the obstacles will destroy the plane, resulting in a loss.

• Level 1: The obstacles are very thin.
• Level 2: The obstacles are twice the original size.
• Level 3: The obstacles are three times the original size, making them very thick.

In WarioWare Gold, while keeping its original gameplay, the microgame received a thematic overhaul. Instead of a paper plane, the player controls a small, white character gliding on a leaf down a flowery well. The background music is an arrangement of part of the music for the Paper Plane minigame and Paper Airplane Chase. If they crash into a wall, the character becomes a sapling as a winged halo flies away.
