Turtle Tea is a type of beverage available in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It can only be purchased at the stand on the northeast side of Toad Town from a Snifit, and later, a Toad. It is normally purchased for 20 coins, but Mario is able to get a free sample from the Snifit toward the beginning of the game. The Turtle Tea decreases Mario's running speed for a moment, lasting approximately ten seconds. It cannot be kept in Mario's inventory, and acts immediately after it is purchased.
Another type of beverage, Rabbit Espresso, can be purchased for 50 coins and has the opposite effect.
