Dimensions: 120 mm x 55 mm x 35 mm

Larger sample with argentotetrahedrite-Zn from the type locality in Kremnica.
The mineral is in thin silvery veins or small grains between milky quartz and grey quartzite matrix.

Material was analyzed by SEM-EDS and XRD.

Unfortunately, the sample was stolen at Mineral Show in Bratislava 3rd of December 2022.

Largest Crystal Size: 12 mm

Interesting specimen of monohydrocalcite collected in 2016 in Špania Dolina deposit. The sample is mainly formed into stalactites in which are crystalized aggregates. Maximum length of stalactites is 22 mm.

Maximum size of crystals on the samples found at this locality is up to 40 mm! which are the largest xls of MHC in the world. Also interesting is the green colour of monohydrocalcites from Špania Dolina that is caused by content of copper (up to 0.01 apfu). Identified in Slovak Academy of Sciences using WDS, RTG difraction and Raman analysis.

Largest Crystal Size: 25 mm

One of the best monohydrocalcites from my new find in 2016 in Špania Dolina deposit. Maximum size of crystals on the samples found is up to 40 mm! These are the largest xls of MHC in the world. Also interesting is the green colour of monohydrocalcites from Špania Dolina that is caused by content of copper (up to 0.01 apfu). Identified in Slovak Academy of Sciences using WDS, RTG difraction and Raman analysis.

Vaterite with calcite and aragonite are white powdery paramorphoses on or within MHC xls.
