A Pb-Au-Ag-Cu occurrence/prospect located in the S½SW¼ sec. 12, T23N, R18W, G&SRM, 3 miles SE of Chloride, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters. There is no specific mention of this mine is the reference of Schrader (1909).

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite. The ore body strikes N60W and dips 75N. The mineralization is associated with a Late Cretaceous porphyry intrusion. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic granitic rocks.

Regional geologic features include Precambrian schistosity that strikes N30E. Veins, fissures and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally.
