Controller Claim; Red Bird Claim

A copper prospect on Hobo Hill consisting of two claims. It was developed by two shallow shafts. It worked metamorphosed limey argillite and impure limestone in granite.

Deposit: Limy argillite and impure limestone surrounded and metamorphosed by granite.

Geology: A certain layer a few ft in width is weathered to a highly limonitic material that resembles the gossan of a pyritiferous lode but is probably derived in the main from magnetite and iron bearing silicates.

Rock formation(s): Colville Batholith
Covada Group
