Landås 6 (Landåstunnelen 2), Landås, Iveland, Agder, Norge

A feldspar quarry in a granite pegmatite dike located about 150 m W of Landås 5.

Bjørlykke (1934) locality n° 46.

Bjørlykke (1934) places this quarry 150 m W of Landås 5.

A recently updated altitude map has made it possible to identify this locality with great certainty.

However, there seems to be a problem, since there seem to be two entrances 70 m apart.

The one in the west might, or might not have an exit 40m to the east. At that point, there seems to be rock blasted out the side of the hill.

The shaft to the right can only have one opening.

Which of these two is the real Landåstunnelen 2 is pure guessing.

The coordinates are given for the one in the east, while the other one has the following coordinates: 58.49117N 7.86024E.

At 58.49132N 7.85985E there seems to be a quarry.
