Operating limestone quarry.
Known for good celestine crystals which occurred during the 1970s to 1990s.

Located near Emmenhausen, approx. 10 km west of Göttingen.

"Wine-yellow calcite rhombohedra up to 2 cm that fluoresce white have been found in a limestone quarry." (Komotauer, 1983).
