Niobium-bearing ilmenorulite is present in the Nemag fenite as veins, as disseminations in albite-rich bodies, as disseminations in massive aegirine and with ilmenite and magnetite. The largest rutile vein at this location is about 1 m long and up to 10 cm wide and surrounded by riebeckite. One sample collected by the OGS in 1975 returned 5.18% Nb2O3.
