About 75 km NW of Cue is a small quarry in a porphyritic dolerite used for an ornamental stone. It contains pink clinozoisite-rich pseudomorphs after plagioclase megacrysts, 20-40 mm diameter.

The deposit is part of a steep dipping, north-east trending dyke, 500 metres long and variable thickness from 5 to 25 metres. It was mined across 1999 to 2004 by D. Caesar, from several small pits at the north-east end of the dyke. Some specimens have been seen, including slabs, spheres, and carvings from this period.

On the surface the dolerite is grey with a reddish brown oxidised coating, containing numerous golf ball-shaped megacrysts of pale pink clinozoisite, considerably harder than the surrounding matrix. There are zones where the megacrysts are more irregular and smaller.

The material has also been given names like Spotted Cat Rock and Native Cat Rock.

The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate.
