Explosive breccia type molybdenum deposit, occurring at the edge of a continental volcanic basin.

Dongbeigou Mo deposit (~0.5 km2) is hosted within monzonitic granite and granodiorite. Mineralization occurs as stockwork-disseminated type, with molybdenite primarily concentrated in quartz veinlets (1โ€“20 mm wide), accompanied by subordinate pyrite.
