On old locality labels, Horhausen is often used as a generic name, referring to all mines within a 2-3 km distance. These include the mines at Bürdenbach (e.g. Louise, Lammerichskaule), at Willroth (e.g. Georg), and at Güllesheim (e.g. Nöchelchen). Since the mines in the area all worked the same veins, attributing a specimen to a specific mine is rarely possible.
