Two adits have been blasted in a cataclastic fault rock hosted in a grano-dioritic gneiss. The deepest adit is 49 m long. The ore-forming rocks are fine grained and contains finely disseminated hematite that forms 5-30 cm wide lenses in the "cataclasite".
