Triangular-shaped outcrop covering c. 35km² between towns of Shewa, Shahbazgarhi and Machai, together with isolated outcrops on the alluvial plain up to 15km south of Shewa, consist of granite similar to those at Warsak Intrusions, Mohmand District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan.
