A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 27, T26N, R21W, G&SRM, less than 2 miles South of the Mocking Bird Mine, and 13½ miles SE of Nelson's Landing, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Produced in 1926. The USGS MRDS database accuracy for this locality is not stated.

Mineralization is a Au deposit hosted in Neoproterozoic granite. The ore body dips N at a width of 0.91 meter. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic metamorphic rocks.

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 60.96 meters (200 feet).

Analytical data results: $10 to $80 per ton (1909 values).
