Granite pegmatite worked for feldspar and uranium located in the Auselmyra-Auselheia area. Brøgger (1906) mentions minerals found in a granite pegmatite at Auselheia (Ausel). Later litterature refers this to as "Auselmyra gruber" [Auselmyra mines].

NGU has registered an uranium propect with the name "Auselmyra" with the coordinates: 58.6518250,8.8641790. (Coordinates not confirmed, and a study of the altitude maps reveals nothing at these coordinates).

Local names for some of the mines might be "Myragruva", which is said to be located west of a mine name Lyngskjærgruva.

A study of the altitude map reveal one feature that cannot be anything else than a small mine (synk) at Auselheia at 58.65061, 8.875959999999964, and these coordinates are given here.
NW of this quarry is the Gruveheia.

Two uncertain, possible quarries in the area can be found at:

58.6513°N 8.87372°E
58.65069°N 8.87414°E

These needs to be confirmed, might turn out to be a fault.
