A former Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼SW¼SE¼ sec. 14 & the NW¼NE¼NE¼ sec. 23, T19N, R20W, G&SRM, about ¼ mile east of Oatman, on private (patented) land within a Bureau of Land Management administered area. Owned by Oatman United Gold Mining Company, California (1931). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Middle Miocene to Oligocene volcanic rocks.
