A former granite deposit/quarry located in the NE¼NE¼NW¼ sec. 14, T11N, R1W, SBM, 4.6 km (2.9 miles) SSW of Lane Mountain (coordinates of record), . Operated by Calico Rock Milling, California (1993). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface openings (the topo map reflects 1 open cast mine/quarry symbol about 100 meters W of this point).
