A former Au-Cu occurrence/mine located in the N½NW¼NE¼ sec. 21, T5N, R15E, SBM, 1.7 km (1.1 miles) NW of the Ship Mountains (coordinates of record), 9.4 km (5.8 miles) E of Cadiz and 14.7 km (9.1 miles) SSW of Danby, along the western margin of the Ship Mountains (4 miles WSW of Skeleton Pass). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in limestone and granite. The deposit consists of a contact zone 4 feet wide and 200 feet long. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface openings comprised of pits.
