Named in honor of Jozef Erlichman (2 March 1935, Amsterdam, Netherlands - 17 October 2022), electron microprobe analyst for the Planetology Branch, NASA-Ames Research Center, employee of Applied Space Products, Palo Alto, California. He identified or worked on several new minerals. It is pronounce ər'-lik-man-īt.
