Mesa 25.3.3 Ships Latest Bug Fixes, Intel Vulkan GTK4 Toolkit Workarounds

Mesa 25.3.3 shipped on Thursday as the newest stable point release for Q4's Mesa 25.3 feature series. Now being into the new quarter, we have Mesa 26.0 to look forward to as stable likely by late February, but for now Mesa 25.3.3 is the latest and greatest stable version.

Mesa 25.3.3 is fairly light in regards to new changes given many developers taking time off over the past two weeks with end-of-year paid time off and holidays. There is though some Intel ANV Vulkan driver fixes, fixes to smaller drivers like Freedreno and Asahi, a Nouveau memory leak fix, and other small bug fixes throughout.

On the Intel ANV Vulkan driver side is a memory leak fix in its slab allocator code. The Intel ANV driver also lands GTK4 toolkit workarounds when using its Vulkan back-end. Intel Xe2 hardware ends up disabling CCS DRM modifiers for GTK via DRIRC overrides to workaround GTK4 issues. See this merge request for those interested in the technical details.

The full list of patches making up this light Mesa 25.3.3 release can be found via the Mesa-dev mailing list.
