Mesa NVK Driver Now Exposes Vulkan 1.4 For NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPUs
Merged a short time ago to Mesa 25.3-devel Git and marked for back-porting to the Mesa 25.2 series is advertising Vulkan 1.4 conformance for NVIDIA's latest Blackwell GPUs.
The Khronos Group is now recognizing the NVK driver as Vulkan 1.4 conformant across the GeForce RTX 50 series consumer graphics cards plus the GeForce RTX PRO 4000 / 5000 / 6000 Blackwell graphics cards.
With that the simple change is now in place confirming Vulkan 1.4 conformance for the open-source NVK driver and matching the level of support found with prior NVIDIA GPUs on this Mesa Vulkan driver. This will be back-ported for the upcoming Mesa 25.2 stable release.
