AMD EPYC 4004 Benchmarks: Outperforming Intel Xeon E-2400 With Performance, Efficiency & Value
Not that most enterprises will be leveraging 16 cores or less for HPC workloads, I ran a number of high performance computing workloads too. There is some relevance here such as for those start-ups or others on a budget or more broadly for those looking toward cost effective CI/CD testing and similar testing scenarios.
With the EPYC 4004 series boasting AVX-512 and the same ISA capabilities as the EPYC 8004/9004 series unlike the Xeon E-2400 vs. 5th Gen Xeon Scalable line-up, the EPYC 4004 series processors provide much better value and performance for AVX-512 enabled workloads.
