AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 Linux Performance With The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6
The Radeon 880M integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics with the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 on the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 was delivering better performance and power efficiency over the prior-gen AMD parts. The Strix Point laptops on Ubuntu 25.04 were also beating all of the Intel parts in performance-per-Watt with these Xonotic OpenGL benchmarks.
While the raw performance out-of-the-box for the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 wasn't too compelling over the Ryzen 7 7840U in most of the CPU benchmarks shown today, at least with the RDNA 3.5 graphics it's a much better story for the default experience.
The AMD RDNA 3.5 graphics have been working out well for integrated graphics on Linux complete with the open-source driver stack.
