Code compilation on the Threadripper PRO 9995WX can be beneficial if you are compiling multiple codebases simultaneously. If you are compiling large codebases and with jobs for each CPU core/thread, there isn't much to any benefit over the Threadripper 9980X with quad channel memory. Unfortunately compiler threading that's been previously looked at for the function level rather than source file level haven't panned out yet or anything else like that to further enhance the scalability of compiling across many core workstations/servers. But at least if you are looking at Threadripper PRO for a CI/CD build box and compiling many builds simultaneously or of different software packages, you will be able to find greater scalability with the Threadripper PRO 9995WX flagship.
